This project supplies TD75/DTII(A) fixed belt conveyors to a cement manufacturing plant for the long-distance, inclined transport of materials such as limestone, clinker, and powdered products along the production line. The conveyors span plant roads and structures, utilizing an elevated truss-bridge configuration throughout the route.
Materials in cement plants are characterized by high density and a large proportion of fine powder, requiring transport over long distances and significant vertical lifts. Conveyor galleries must span existing plant buildings and facilities within constrained installation spaces; furthermore, outdoor sections are exposed to the elements, placing high demands on the structural strength and sealing integrity of the equipment.
- Utilizes the DTII(A) standard fixed belt conveyor with a high-quality polyester canvas (EP) belt; the belt offers high tensile strength and excellent troughability, making it suitable for high-capacity, long-distance operations.
- The elevated section employs a galvanized truss gantry structure with walkways and guardrails, ensuring high overall rigidity and enabling rapid on-site installation.
- The carrying strand is equipped with troughing idler sets, the tail loading point features a buffering mechanism, and the head pulley is fitted with a backstop device to prevent slipping or reverse movement during loaded shutdowns.
- Outdoor sections are equipped with rain covers to protect the conveyor belt and materials, thereby extending the equipment's service life.
Since commissioning, the conveying system has operated stably with a low failure rate, meeting the requirements for continuous, high-volume transport on the cement production line; the truss trestle design reduced the volume of civil engineering work and shortened the project construction period.
