This project supplies mobile, elevating conveyors and auxiliary conveying equipment to the bulk cargo handling area of a port terminal, facilitating the loading of trucks and vessels as well as stacking and reclaiming operations in the storage yard. The equipment supports a combination of movements—including mobility, elevation, telescoping, and rotation—enabling flexible adaptation to the loading and unloading requirements of multiple berths and diverse cargo types.
Port loading and unloading operations are characterized by numerous, widely dispersed work sites and a diverse range of cargo, necessitating frequent equipment relocation and rapid deployment; operations involve significant vertical drops during ship and vehicle loading—generating substantial dust—while the high-humidity, high-salinity coastal environment places stringent demands on equipment corrosion resistance.
- Features a mobile, elevating conveyor with a tire-mounted travel mechanism for flexible relocation; the hydraulic lifting system allows for rapid adjustment of the inclination angle during operation, enabling integrated truck and ship loading;
- The frame undergoes comprehensive sandblasting and rust removal followed by a heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating, while idlers and drums utilize moisture-proof, sealed designs to withstand high-salinity coastal environments;
- The discharge point at the head end is equipped with a discharge chute and sealing skirts to minimize dust generation during loading and unloading, thereby improving the working environment at the terminal.
Since the equipment was put into operation, loading and unloading efficiency has improved significantly; it offers rapid relocation and high mobility, with a single unit capable of serving multiple work areas. Users report stable performance and ease of maintenance, effectively reducing the overall cost of handling bulk cargo at the terminal.
